Dear participants, welcome to the 3rd Edition of the provincial bilingual conference Résolutions2025: Overcoming Racism Together!

The Call to Action Against Racism advisory committee, under the leadership of La Passerelle-I.D.É., is honoured to welcome you to the third edition of the provincial bilingual conference Résolutions: Overcoming Racism Together, taking place October 16 and 17, 2025, at the City Hall of Greater Sudbury for the official opening, and at Collège Boréal for the conference sessions.

This landmark event will bring together distinguished dignitaries—including the Mayor of Greater Sudbury, Mr. Paul Lefebvre, our special guest for the official opening, as well as a wide range of influential experts and panelists from the public, private, and community sectors.

Key moments of Résolutions2025:

Pre-Conference Excursion - October 15, 2025

9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The goal of the pre-conference excursion is to immerse participants in the rich and living history of Manitoulin Island, located on unceded Indigenous territory, on the eve of the conference. This experience will provide enhanced insight into the historical and contemporary connections between Black and Indigenous communities, as well as the struggles and achievements of these peoples in the face of injustice.

By exploring this symbolic territory, participants will be invited to engage in meaningful reflection and dialogue on systemic racism and intercultural solidarity. This experience will strengthen our collective commitment to equity and inclusion, while laying the foundation for more informed discussions throughout the two days of Résolutions2025.
