Anyone familiar with La Passerelle-I.D.É. knows that, since 1996, we've been convinced that Canada and French Ontario are exceptional places to welcome Francophone immigrants. At La Passerelle-I.D.É., we recognize the obstacles and challenges faced by Black and racialized Francophone immigrants in their efforts to integrate, and we believe that a strong Canada is built on diversity and civic engagement. Our vision is to help our clientele become socially and economically established and prosper.

“Overcoming Racism Together” - 1st edition

The Résolutions2023 conference, held on October 16 and 17, 2023, at Parliament Hill and at the Westin hotel in Ottawa, brought together a host of key leaders to discuss systemic racism issues and develop recommendations for overcoming racism together.

A leading program at La Passerelle-I.D.É. for over 20 years, the IKUEN cooking workshops are interactive, free of charge, and run by seasoned chefs. It enables participants to break isolation, socialize and learn how to better integrate into their host society.
