At the official opening of the 3rd edition of the bilingual provincial conference Résolutions: Overcoming Racism Together.

The Call to Action Against Racism advisory committee at La Passerelle-I.D.É. is honoured to announce the presence of Mr. Paul Lefebvre, Mayor of Greater Sudbury, as the special guest at the official opening of the third edition of Résolutions, the provincial bilingual conference on systemic racism.​

This year’s conference will take place on October 16 and 17, 2025, in Sudbury, and will be officially launched with a formal ceremony at City Hall, marking a pivotal moment of institutional recognition and political commitment.

Under the theme “TOWARDS A ROOTED AND INCLUSIVE FRANCOPHONIE”, Résolutions2025 will bring together leaders from Black and racialized communities, public and political decision-makers, private institutions, and youth from across the country to collectively advance racial equity within Francophone communities. The conference will offer a space for bold dialogue, shared accountability, and concrete solutions for an equitable future.

A pre-conference excursion on October 15, 2025, to Manitoulin Island, located on the unceded territory of Indigenous Nations, will offer participants a moment of reflection rooted in Indigenous history, culture, and truth.
