About the event

The goal of the pre-conference excursion is to immerse our participants in the rich and vibrant history of Manitoulin Island, in the heart of an Indigenous reserve, the day before the conference. This excursion will offer an enriched perspective on the historical and contemporary connections between Black and Indigenous communities, as well as on the struggles and successes of these peoples in the face of injustice.
By exploring this symbolic territory, we will foster meaningful reflection and exchange around the challenges of systemic racism and intercultural solidarity today. This experience will strengthen our collective commitment to equality and inclusion, while also preparing the ground for enriching discussions during the two days of the Résolutions2025 conference.
